Internship offers
If you are looking for an internship at Leibniz University, please get in touch with the institute(s) directly and ask if they currently accept interns. Here is a link to the different faculties: https://www.uni-hannover.de/en/universitaet/fakultaeten/
It is usually best if you find the institute or the person(s) most closely connected to your field of research and contact them directly, instead of writing a more general email. If your internship will be in German, please consider sending your application in German, as well.
For other internship offers, please refer to databases such as JOE – Job Offer Exchange. Aside from these permanent offers in our region, we also recommend that you look for an internship on your own, since the number of places offered in these databases is limited. German internship databases, the Chamber of Commerce and the Yellow Pages offer a good opportunity for finding internships. Need translation? Check out (i.e.) http://dict.leo.org
Unless otherwise stated, your application should contain the following:
A letter of introduction to the company in the working language. Please give a short description of your studies and academic degree, explain how your studies can be applied during the internship or in which field you would like to work. Please include the time period in which you would like to do an internship and any other information that may be useful.
