Prüfungsabmeldung bzw. Prüfungsrücktritt
Abmeldung innerhalb der Abmeldefrist
- Die Abmeldung von einer Klausur und Klausur mit Antwortverfahren ist bis zu 7 Kalendertage vor dem Prüfungsdatum online möglich.
- Die Abmeldung von einer mündlichen Prüfung oder einer sportpraktischen Präsentation kann bis zum Tag vor der Prüfung direkt bei den Prüfenden erfolgen.
- Die Abmeldung von allen übrigen in der Anlage 2 genannten Prüfungsformen ist bis zum Beginn der Prüfungsleistung möglich. Der Beginn der Prüfungsleistung ist bei Formen der Themenausgabe die Themenausgabe.
- Ausgenommen hiervon ist eine Themenrückgabe - bei Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten gemäß §7 der entsprechenden Prüfungsordnung.

Versäumnis außerhalb der Abmeldefrist
Sollte die Abmeldung nicht innerhalb der jeweiligen Frist erfolgt sein, können gegenüber dem nach §3 zuständigen Organ (Studiendekan*in oder Prüfungsausschuss) unverzüglich wichtige Gründe für einen Rücktritt von der Prüfungsleistung geltend gemacht werden.
- Im Falle einer Krankheit wird unter anderem ein ärztliches Attest benötigt. Dieses Attest können Sie mit allen weiteren notwendigen Informationen über das Formular "Rücktrittserklärung wegen krankheitsbedingter Prüfungsunfähigkeit" einreichen.
- Im Falle von anderen wichtigen Gründen kann das Formular "Rücktrittserklärung/Verlängerung der Bearbeitungszeit aus wichtigen Gründen (nicht krankheitsbedingt)" verwendet werden.

Hinweis zu den Anlagen 4a und 4b:
Diese Formulare sind Musterformulare. Das Attest kann auch formlos erstellt werden, soweit es folgende Punkte enthält:
- Die gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen des Prüflings und
- die sich daraus ergebenden Einschränkungen des Prüflings im Hinblick auf die betroffene Prüfung.

Verlängerung der Bearbeitungszeit einer Bachelor- oder Masterarbeit, Studien- oder Hausarbeit
Bitte beachten Sie: Möchten Sie die Verlängerung der Bearbeitungszeit einer Bachelor- oder Masterarbeit oder Studien- oder Hausarbeit aufgrund von Krankheit beantragen, so ist dem Formular "Verlängerung der Bearbeitungszeit wegen krankheitsbedingter Prüfungsunfähigkeit" ein ärztliches Attest beizufügen. Der Antrag auf Verlängerung ist unverzüglich nach Eintritt des für die Verzögerung maßgeblichen Grundes zu stellen.
Examination deregistration | Examination withdrawal
Deregistration within the deregistration period
- Withdrawal from a written examination and written examination with answer procedure is possible online up to 7 calendar days before the examination date.
- Withdrawal from an oral examination or a practical sports presentation can be made directly to the examiners up to the day before the examination.
- Withdrawal from all other forms of examination listed in Annex 2 is possible until the start of the examination. The start of the examination performance is the issue of the topic in the case of forms of topic issue.
- An exception to this is a topic return - for Bachelor's and Master's theses according to §7 of the corresponding examination regulations.

Failure outside the deregistration period
If the withdrawal has not taken place within the respective deadline, important reasons for a withdrawal from the examination can be asserted immediately to the body responsible according to §3 (Dean of Studies or Examination Board).
- In the case of illness, a medical certificate in the form of the form " Declaration of withdrawal due to inability to take the examination due to illness" is required.
- In the case of other important reasons, the form "Declaration of withdrawal/extension of the processing time for important reasons (not due to illness)" is required.

Note on appendices 4a and 4b:
These forms are sample forms. The certificate can also be created informally as long as it contains the following points:
- The health impairments of the examinee and
- the resulting restrictions on the examinee with regard to the examination in question.

Extension of the processing time of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, dissertation or term paper
Please note: If you would like to apply for an extension of the processing time of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis or term paper due to illness, a medical certificate must be attached to the form "Submission deadline extension because of incapacity to take an examination due to illness and medical certificate". The application for an extension must be submitted immediately after the occurrence of the reason for the delay.
