Data protection
The Leibniz University (LUH) start of study app does not collect any data, but only works with an anonymous login, which is why you do not create a user profile. It provides all the information you need to start your studies in one place.
Data processing by app store providers
You can get the LUH "Studienstart (start of study) app" from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We have no influence on the data used there. Please inform yourself in the data protection declaration there.

Statistics / User Statistics
Our system only collects anonymous data/information for statistical purposes. We use your data to optimize the app based on your user behavior. Within the app, we record which pages a user opened, how often they opened the page, how long it was open and at what point they closed the app.
No movement or user profile will be created for you. The information is sent to the server of our app platform provider (Mittelrhein Software https://blupassion.de/ueber-uns-blu/) for statistical purposes of the application. After successfully uploading this log data, the log in the local device is automatically deleted.
Processing of device information
No device-specific data (UDID) is used or passed on. We generate an app-specific UUID for the user from the combination of the OS-ID and the Bluetooth address of the device used, which is also deleted when the app is deleted, so that no device information can be identified is. We use this UUID to send push notifications to users. The UUID used by us in the statistical context and for push messages is a randomly generated unique ID. The UUID has no connection to the Hardware ID (UDID) or the AdvertisingID. This means that if a user deletes the application and reinstalls it, the UUID will also be regenerated. The UUID identifies an app on a device.
Personalized content – without data collection
We do not collect any personal data and do not pass them on to third parties.
General information
Personal data that you provide to us when contacting us, via email or the contact form, will only be processed and used for the purpose for which you have actively made the data available to us. This data is also not passed on to third parties. Personal data collected will be stored until the purpose for which you gave it to us has been fulfilled. Legal obligations extend the storage of the data. The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a) GDPR. This consent is voluntary and you can revoke it at any time with effect for the future. However, your contact request can then no longer be processed.

Right to object
If the data processing is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. e) GDPR, you also have the right to object to the data processing at any time. We will then no longer process your data unless there are compelling reasons worthy of protection for the processing or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
