Purpose of data processing

Registration and participation in the ‘Teaching Day (Tag der Lehre)’ event organised by Section 11.

 

Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. e), Para. 3 GDPR in conjunction with § 3 Para. 1 No. 6 NHG.

 

Obligation to provide data

You are not obliged to provide data, but you cannot participate in the offers of the Human Resources Development section unless you provide us with the required data.

 

Storage period

Your data will be stored for as long as is necessary to carry out the events.

 

Recipients of personal data

The data entered is used solely for the purpose of forwarding TYPO3 by email to hochschuldidaktik@zuv.uni-hannover.de.

It is technically necessary to store the tickets of the sent data in the TYPO3 database. Access to these data records is restricted to employees of the web editorial team and department 11. The data records in Typo3 are deleted at the latest after the respective event has ended.

 

Your rights

In accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to us:

  • Right to receive information from us about the processing of your data at any time and free of charge
  • Right to correct and complete the data we process
  • Right to restrict the processing
  • Right to have your data issued in a commonly used, structured and machine-readable format (right to data portability)

You also have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (e) or (f) of Article 6(1) GDPR.

We will then no longer process the personal data concerning you unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

 

Right to lodge a complaint

Data processing is subject to the supervision of the Landesbeauftragten für Datenschutz Niedersachsen (State Data Protection Officer for Lower Saxony), to whom you can submit complaints. You can find more information and contact details at https://www.lfd.niedersachsen.de/startseite/.
