Access to buildings of Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) is still restricted to those complying with the 3G rule. Since the end of January 2022, the green LUH access wristbands used in the winter semester are no longer valid. In order to facilitate access monitoring in compliance with the 3G rule, new LUH wristbands will be available from 7 February. These will be distributed to students and members of staff who have received a booster vaccination.
Wristbands will be available if:
- you have received the first and second dose plus a booster vaccination or
- if you have recovered from a COVID-19 infection and have received the first and second dose of the vaccine.
At the issuing point, proof of vaccination or additional recovery must be provided, as well as valid proof of identity.
Wristbands are available between 10.00 and 14.00 at the ServiceCenter in the main university building. Moreover, they are distributed at the University Sports Centre – from Monday to Friday between 9.00 and 15.00 in the SportCAMPUS entrance area.
LUH access wristbands may still be used on a voluntary basis. Naturally, proof of the booster status may also be provided at the entrances by providing proof of vaccination – preferably via the Corona-Warn-App or the Cov-Pass-App. Furthermore, additional proof of compliance with the 3G rule (two doses, recovery within the past three months, valid test result) will be checked at the entrances. In addition to the appropriate certificates, proof of identity must be provided. As before, compliance with the 3G rule among members of staff will be monitored by their supervisor. To access buildings, members of staff may present their employee ID card.
