Running, throwing, jumping: The Sports Badge University Challenge initiated by the German Olympics Sports Confederation and the health insurance BKK 24 takes place for the fourth time. On 26 June 2018 from 16.00 to 19.00, six universities will enter the competition. The competition's aim is to score the most sports badge points over a period of three hours. The contest will take place simultaneously at all universities. Students, teaching staff, employees, and alumni of Leibniz University Hannover are invited to support LUH in the competition against universities from across Germany.
Leibniz University Hannover is ready to reclaim the title! After two wins in a row, LUH had to admit defeat, finishing second behind TU Darmstadt last year. This year, competition is even fiercer. The competitors are Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Technische Universität Braunschweig, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Universität Leipzig, and Universität Paderborn. The highest-scoring university wins. However, good ranking is worth the effort, too. The BKK 24 offers prize money, which will be awarded to the most athletic universities.
Live broadcasts between the participating universities will boost excitement, current scores will be announced every half hour - an extraordinary competition atmosphere is guaranteed!
