University Professorship for Business Administration with a focus on Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship

The Faculty of Economics and Management invites applications for the following position of salary scale W2 NBesO with tenure track to salary scale W3 NBesO to be appointed at the earliest possible date: University Professorship for Business Administration with a focus on Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship
The position is initially limited to five years. Following a positive evaluation, the candidate will receive a tenured professorship (salary scale W3 NbesO).
This opportunity is provided as part of a programme by the German federal and state governments, which aims to promote junior researchers who are at an early stage in their career and demonstrate extraordinary potential for a future in research.
The Position
- The professorship represents the field of Business Administration in the area of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship in both research and teaching. Specific focus areas can include, but are not limited to, Strategic Technology and Innovation Management, Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and Startup Ecosystems, or Business Model Innovation.
- The professorship contributes to the university's research excellence through relevant publications in leading international journals, successful grant applications, and a general willingness to collaborate on joint projects in the faculty's research focus areas.
- The professorship is integrated into the Strategic Management area at the faculty and teaches in the faculty’s Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Additionally, participation in interdisciplinary study programmes at Leibniz University Hannover is planned.
Your Profile
- You have a clearly recognisable research profile in the area of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship. Your initial publications in international journals demonstrate your high scientific potential.
- Your research is characterised by theoretical foundation, methodological quality, and practical relevance.
- You distinguish yourself through relevant teaching experience, didactic skills, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to conduct courses in English.
- You can demonstrate initial experience in acquiring third-party funding, ideally in collaborative projects.
