The position is initially limited to 3 years.
Your role
An independent research project is waiting for you! With us, you will work on your scientific qualifications and benefit from the collegial exchange with our team of engineers with a wide range of focus areas. Your work in one of our current research topics will be complemented by your dedicated involvement in academic teaching in Civil Engineering study programs.
Who are we looking for?
A prerequisite for employment is a completed scientific university degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in engineering with a strong focus on mechanics/numerical mechanics (particularly continuum mechanics, material modeling, and the finite element method). Above-average academic performance is expected. A relevant completed doctorate is desirable for the postdoctoral position.
Furthermore, very good German and English skills are advantageous for teaching activities.
