Canada is the second largest country in the world in terms of area and makes up about two-fifths of the North American continent. In many ways, this country can be seen as a brother to the USA. Similarities can be found in the form of the vast natural landscapes and the pop culture. And yet Canada differs from its individuality-loving brother in its community-oriented mentality and perspective on the world. Multiculturalism and interculturalism are historically deeply rooted here through the coexistence of a British and a French-influenced Canada.
