The Institut Mines-Télécom looks back with great pleasure on the successful completion of its Blended Intensive Programme, which is entirely focused on student engagement. In close collaboration with Leibniz University Hannover, the University of L’Aquila, Brno University of Technology, and the National Technical University of Athens, this programme has created a valuable platform for students to raise their voices and actively participate in shaping their academic and social environment.
In a constantly changing world, the participants have recognised that active engagement not only represents an opportunity for personal development but can also be a powerful driver for social change. Through inspiring workshops and interactive projects, the students have acquired fundamental communication and intercultural skills that enable them to act as bridge builders between different cultures and perspectives.
We are eagerly looking forward to the sustainable impacts of this programme. Together, we are shaping a future where every individual is heard and actively contributes to change!
Karim E., Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering: "As part of the BIP programme, I was able to acquire valuable skills in project management, autonomous learning, and intercultural collaboration. The learning environment was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Collaborating with individuals from different cultures on a shared project presented a challenge that I successfully overcame, thanks to the programme. This experience has enhanced my understanding of the learning behaviours of my students as a tutor, while also prompting me to reflect on and improve my own learning habits. I am now motivated to further develop my own projects and ideas. I would recommend this programme to anyone wishing to enhance their skills in these areas. Overall, I am very satisfied and would like to continue supporting the EULiST BIP programme."
Julia Männel, ZQS Key Competencies, Project Coordinator (Projects for Future and Projects with Companies) and Instructor: "It was an exciting experience to work with students from our European partner universities and to learn about their perspectives. I found it enriching to share our experiences in sustainable project work at LUH while also being able to inspire projects at the other EULiST locations."
