Registration

The word alumnus is derived from the Latin verb 'alere’ for 'nourish’ and means 'nursling, pupil of an alma mater'. The term alumni (alumnus, pl. alumni) refers to graduates of a higher education institution, as well as to former professors and all former members of a university.
