Cooperations with IIT Indore

On December 5, 2019, a one-day workshop on internationalization took place at IIT Indore as part of the "A New Passage to India" project, which was funded from 2019 to 2023. Dr. Birgit Barden-Läufer, head of the International Office at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), and Dr. Bala Ramani, regional coordinator for India, participated from LUH. The IIT Indore delegation was led by Prof. Kapil Ahuja, Dean for International Affairs.

The existing cooperation between the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore and the Leibniz University Hannover has already produced successful results in the past. Through joint academic exchanges and research projects in areas such as engineering and natural sciences, both institutions have benefited from each other. This collaboration, which has been ongoing for several years, has intensified the exchange of knowledge and opened up new perspectives for students and researchers alike. Thanks to international networking, innovative solutions to technological and scientific challenges have already been developed, highlighting the strong partnership between the universities.
