Leibnizhaus

Leibnizhaus is the guest house of Hanover's universities and at the same time a conference centre in the centre of Hanover. Since 1983, Leibnizhaus has offered visiting academics from all over the world a temporary home. It contains 28 flats of various sizes as well as 5 single rooms and 3 rooms in shared flats, which are available for rent. There are also lecture and seminar rooms of various sizes, which are used for scientific and cultural events such as meetings and conferences. The Lower Saxony Ministry of Science and Culture has transferred the administration of the Leibnizhaus to Leibniz Universität Hannover. This administration is carried out by the Leibnizhaus office team. The team is part of the central university administration and, in organisational terms, is part of the Commercial Facility Management department within the Facility Management division.
