The Leibniz University Hannover choir is a mixed choir which has set itself the goal of maintaining and cultivating choir music from different centuries. This work is supported by weekend and vacation rehearsals and culminates in concerts where the choir presents its work to the public. Students and university members who enjoy singing are welcome to join.
The university choir consists of roughly 80 students from all the faculties. The choir is open not only to students and members of the university, but also to anyone who enjoys singing. Previous experience in a choir is beneficial, and you must be able to read music. New members are accepted at the beginning of the winter semester each year.
