Crisis Management Committee

The Crisis Management Committee at Leibniz University Hannover (LUH) meets regularly in the event of a critical situation or crisis. It is responsible for assessing the crisis level on an ongoing basis, quickly making decisions in the interest of the university, and issuing instructions for action.

 

The following individuals are members of the LUH Crisis Management Committee:

  • the president
  • the senior vice president
  • the vice president for education
  • the personal assistant to the president
  • the head of Communications and Marketing
  • the head of the Occupational Health and Safety department
  • the head of the Buildings Management department
  • the chairperson of the Staff Council
  • two representatives from the faculty management
  • one student representative from the Senate

If necessary, additional individuals will be consulted in an advisory capacity – for example, the head of Occupational Health or representatives of the Student Services Organisation.
