Hannover Science Initiative
Leibniz University Hannover became a member of the Hannover Science Initiative in 2007. By now, nine universities in the Hannover region are involved (Leibniz University Hannover, University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hannover, Hannover Medical School, Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Lower Saxonian Municipal University of Applied Administrative Sciences, University of Applied Sciences in Hannover, Leibniz FH, GISMA Business School), as well as the Geo Centre Hannover, the Fraunhofer Institute for Toxicology and Experimental Medicine, the Student Services Organisation Hannover, the hannoverimpuls GmbH, and the State Capital Hannover. The aim of the Science Initiative is to increase the appeal of Hannover as a university and science location, as well as to improve the learning environment for students.
Video portal: Project “studieren.forschen.wissen”
A unique multimedia portal on research and studies in Hannover was launched in March 2013 and provides an overview of research projects, course content, and student life guided by the motto “studieren.forschen.wissen”.
