The Institute of Mechanics and Computational Mechanics has a vacancy for a Research Assistant (Post-Doc, m/f/d) in the Area: Mechanics/Computational Mechanics (Salary Scale 13 TV-L, 100 %) to be occupied starting from October 1st, 2024. The position is initially limited to 3 years. The opportunity for habilitation is given.

Tasks
An independent research project is waiting for you! With us, you will work on your scientific qualifications and benefit from the collegial exchange with our team of engineers with a wide range of focus areas. Your work in one of our current research topics will be complemented by your dedicated involvement in academic teaching in Civil Engineering study programs.

Requirements
A prerequisite for employment is a completed doctorate in engineering with a major focus on mechanics/numerical mechanics (in particular continuum mechanics, material modeling, finite element method, AI in mechanics).
