Your role

We are an international and strongly collaborative group. Our research focuses on materials and devices for energy storage. Though renewable energies are abundant in our environment, the critical problem is how to harvest and store them efficiently. We aim to tackle this great challenge by developing micro-/nanoscale materials and devices. The multidisciplinary research, which covers physics, materials and engineering, will provide solutions to create energy harvesting and storage devices that are safer, smaller, more efficient and durable.

Join our innovative team to develop cutting-edge pouch cells for lithium-ion and lithium-sulphur batteries. We are seeking a skilled candidate to develop new materials that significantly enhance battery performance. Your role will involve designing, testing, and optimizing advanced battery technologies. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrochemistry and materials science.

Who are we looking for?

A completed scientific university degree in physics or equivalent related disciplines is a prerequisite for recruitment. The candidates should have a strong background in experimental Physics and Chemistry, battery materials, energy storage, with expertise in battery material synthesis, pouch cell techniques, and characterization techniques like TEM, AFM, XRD, XPS, etc.
