Study Buddy Programme

Would you like to meet students from around the world? Are you an international student who just moved to Hannover? Become a Buddy!

Registration is open to students from LUH who would like to support an international student, as well as to international students who will be studying at Leibniz University Hannover.

The Buddy Programme aims to foster exchange between international and local students. Furthermore, the programme supports international students at the beginning of their studies in Hannover and makes them feel welcome.

INTERNATIONAL BUDDY

I am an international student looking for a Study Buddy.

The Study Buddy Program offers international students support and assistance through a personal Buddy, who stands by them upon arrival and in their daily academic life. Through this program, they quickly get to know other students and explore the campus and the city together.

LOCAL BUDDY

I would like to support international students.

In the Study Buddy Program, local students can support international peers at the start of their studies at LUH. As a "local" buddy, you gain intercultural experiences and help international students settle into life in Hannover.
