Ghana

The Republic of Ghana is a country located on the west coast of Africa with the metropolis of Accra as its capital. In addition to the official English language, the approximately 30 million inhabitants speak a variety of languages, such as Akan. In addition to beautiful white sandy beaches and extensive national parks, the 60 or so forts and fortresses from the colonial era in Ghana are impressive, as are the traditional Ashanti buildings near Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti region. Both have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Formerly known as the ‘Gold Coast’, the country is rich in mineral resources and gold is still Ghana's most important export. Ghana's higher education landscape is growing steadily. While there were only 6 public universities in Ghana in 1994, there are now a total of over 180 universities, colleges, polytechnics and other institutes recognised by the National Accreditation Board.

While the rest of the world has improved technology, Ghana has improved the quality of humanity towards people.
